About Emma
From an early age, I have adored all kinds of animals. My childhood was spent in rural Indiana, and I always had a dog by my side. My affinity for dogs soon grew into a love for wolves which in turn sparked an interest and deep admiration for different animals, wildlife and rustic landscapes. During my childhood I would often spend time walking my dogs, exploring nature, or spending hours at a time drawing or taking pictures with my little Sony camera.
I currently live in the beautiful state of Michigan. My love for wildlife, photography and art remains strong and always will! I enjoy exploring this beautiful state and I love to capture new adventures through my lens.
My services include custom hand painted Christmas ornaments, vintage style lanterns, coffee cups and furniture repainting! I use standard 2.64 inch glass bulbs, and 3.25 inch round ceramic flats. The highest quality acrylic paint is used for my ornaments. All ornaments are protected with a beautiful semi-gloss varnish.
Coffee Cups hold 10 ounces each and are made from high quality ceramic material and are painted with non-toxic, high quality porcelain paint. You may eat or drink from these without worry! Each cup is fired at a high temperature to ensure a permanent finish that will not fade or peel off over time. I am available to paint a picture of your pet, a family member or loved one, your home, your favorite animal or a favorite landscape onto ornaments and coffee cups. These make beautiful gifts for the holidays or for someone's birthday!
I also have handmade jewelry available. I collect authentic Michigan flowers which are harvested at their peak, and dried using either a floral pressing or silica gel method. Once dried, I arrange the flowers and flower petals into metal antique style pendants and cover the flowers in a durable resin which permanently preserves their beautiful original colors. Each piece is handcrafted by myself and every design is unique. Pendants are attached to 18-inch necklace chains.
